Biography
Dr. Zheng eceived her Ph.D. from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan, and subsequently served as a postdoctoral researcher at The Pennsylvania State University, USA. Currently a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Life Sciences, Peking University, and Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory of Gene Function Research and Manipulation. Council member of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, member of the Protein Committee of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Standing Committee member of the Enzymology Committee of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Formerly served as Vice Dean of the School of Life Sciences at Peking University and Vice President of the Beijing Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.Her research group primarily employs biochemical, molecular biological, cell biological, and immunological approaches to identify novel regulatory factors that influence tumor cell development, progression, and drug resistance, and to investigate their molecular mechanisms in DNA damage response, tumor cell drug resistance, tumor metabolism, and immune regulation, thereby elucidating the relationship between dysregulation of protein function and the occurrence and development of major diseases such as cancer.
She has successively led and participated in more than 20 research projects, including key projects and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, international collaborative ICGEB projects, the Doctoral Program Fund and Priority Development Fund of the Ministry of Education, projects under the National Major Scientific Research Program, and projects under the 863 Program and 973 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Has published nearly 100 SCI papers. Participated in the compilation of the national-level planning textbook for undergraduate education under the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan," Modern Molecular Biology, and the Ministry of Education 101 textbook, Cell Biology.
